LONG MAY WE JAM

howdy folks,
we wrapped up our residency at zebulon this past sunday and what a glorious finale to an absolutely incredible run of shows. firstly i can't thank jeff and joce enuff for having us, am further obliged to all the heads/golden roadies/tapers/punters/dedicated multiples who made the scene...sometimes in triplicate thrice. p.g. six totally ruled solo this past week (it was the first time i had a break between sets) and it was truly awesome to play together with him once again in the electric set. willie lane flew deep flannel with us, his deluxe never sounded better and we aired the live debut of "no there, there" which was wooly and far. jeremy and jarvis from woods let go with extraordinary fire power in the rhythm section and good ol' jer played with so much finesse and force he rocked the drums off the stage twice!. carson smokehound, rongoose and herbcraft set some serious bedrock for this show and we all riffed to equal that energy. even got to encore. let the tapes roll...
gonna miss being down there on sundays, had sunny skies and warm fires every week thru/out capricorn. gonna roll into aquarius this sunday up in burlington, VT where we play at the unitarian church on a bill with thurston moore. come on out...
brighter days,
mv
